Bookfomercials

Students will be starting Bookfomercials on Feb. 1. A Bookfomercial is a style of book talk. Be sure to check the rubric that was handed out in class. Later we will be posting the final videos to the blog.

Reading Projects

Every 5 weeks students complete projects to show understanding of the independent library book they have been reading. It is interesting to see how the students transfer their understanding to their projects. Below are some examples of work completed in the previous weeks. Examples of Comic Strips

Students created comic strips for chapters 14 - 16 for the novel, Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. The assignment showed essential steps for the chapters. Examples are shown below. (on a side note...students were definitely better artists than myself)
